Adopt a Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) Cat

Jet the Cat needs a home

Hi my name is Jet. I am almost 10 years old. BCHS rescued me and other kittens/cats from a man who lived in a motel room with 32 cats. I am sociable and playful, but I do not like to be held. I love to play chasing the laser pointer light.  I was diagnosed in 2016 with possible lymphoma or an intestinal condition similar to Crohn's in humans.  The condition does not allow me to eat dry cat food.  I am on a special diet of canned food specifically for intestinal problems.  I will be on this food the rest of my life.  I vomit if I eat dry food and some types of canned food.  I have not been on any medication since April 2016.  I have been doing fine with my restricted diet.  I am selective about other cats I want to get along with.   I am available for immediate adoption. I am neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, UTD on vaccinations, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped. If you are interested in adopting me please complete an adoption profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohs.petfinder.com. Email the completed on-line profile to the address provided. My adoption fee is by donation.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds, or returns is available upon request. .
